The Ellis Jr. Free Fair will be hosting a Mud Volley Ball Tournament on Saturday, July 31, 2010 starting at 1:00 pm. This is an event that was held back in the 80's and the fair board is bringing the event back for this year's fair. It was a popular event for the participants and the crowd when the event was held.
The age restriction for the tournament will be 14 and older and there will be no age divisions for the tournament. There will have to be at least three females on a team of six players. If a player is younger than 18, parents must sign a player of release of liability.
Forms for the tournament can be picked up at local businesses in town or can contact Jerry Pfeifer at 785-726-3408. The forms will also be available at the fair for individual teams to pick up. The deadline for entry will be July 29, 2010. The Ellis Jr. Free Fair Board is excited for this event and invites individuals to participate or attend this event.
