Come and join us for SpaceTrek 2013!  We’ll explore space travel and make our special trek to Mars during this two day class!  Try space food, build a model rocket, and learn about the Mars Rover and what it takes for humans to survive on Mars is.  Model rockets will be launched at the Ellis Jr. Free Fair, weather permitting.  If you are interested, model rockets may be entered into the Ellis Co. Fair in the Open Class Division and at the Ellis Jr. Free Fair.  Instructors are:  Susan Schlichting, County Extension Agent – 4-H Youth Development and Steve Arthur – Librarian – Ellis Public Library.

 Registration Deadline:  May 22, 2013

Fee:           $8.00 (includes snacks, camp supplies, model rocket & engines)

Held on:    June 4-5 (must attend both days)

Time:        9:00a.m. – Noon

Ages:        3^rd – 5^th grades

Location:  Ellis Public Library Community Room
