DATE: MONDAY, TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY, JULY 26th, 27th, 28th

ENTRY FREE:  $100.00 PER TEAM, PLUS TWO GAME BALLS. MAX OF 6 TEAMS

DEADLINE:  JULY 19, 2010

LOCATION:  GAMES WILL BE PLAYED AT THE ELLIS FAIRGROUNDS NORTH AND SOUTH FIELDS AT 6TH AND COTTONWOOD STREETS.

RULES OF TOURNAMENT:

- Age restriction is each participant cannot be 13 years of age before June 1, 2010.

- All games are 4 innings in length and begin at 6:00 PM each night.

- A run rule of 8 after 3 innings will be followed.

- One practice infield will be allowed per day (10minutes max.)

- Pitching distance is 50' and bases are 70'

- Pitchers are allowed to throw 3 innings in one game and 5 innings total in two consecutive games.

- No metal cleats are allowed.

- A coin toss will decide the home team in each game.

- Each team shall present an official lineup to the umpire and scorekeeper before each game.

- Limit team roster to 15 players.

- All other high school baseball rules will apply.

- Awards will be given to the top three teams in the tournament.

-Please remember to bring your team roster and player release forms to your first game.

Coaches....Remember you will need to hand in your player release forms at the registration table before you play your first game!!!  

Rules

K-18 Rules will be followed with these additions/exceptions

•1.             All teams must use the Wood Bats furnished by the Recreation Commission.

•2.                  The run-rule for these games will be a 15 run rule after 3 innings of play, and a 10 run rule after 4 innings of play will be followed.

•3.             The pitching rule will be that a single pitcher can pitch a total of 8 innings in one day and a total of 15 innings for the tournament.

•4.             The games will be Five (5) innings in length.

•5.             No metal cleats are allowed.

•6.             A coin toss will decide the home team in each game.

•7.             Each team shall present an official lineup to the umpire and scorekeeper before each game.

•8.             All other high school baseball rules will apply.

•9.             There is an EH (Extra Hitter) and a DH (Designated Hitter) allowed for each game played.

Tiebreaker

The first criteria will be head-to-head.

The second will be defensive runs given up.

The third criteria will be offensive runs scored.

The last criteria will be a coin flip.

Gate pass of $2 adult, $1 children per day (pre-school free) will be collected at the field gate. Concessions will be sold at the field.
