BASEBALL:

All leagues are based on enrollment. The K-18, Western Kansas, and Coach Pitch bantam leagues are traveling leagues that travel to and host surrounding communities with all practices held in Ellis.  All leagues begin at the end of May and the coach pitch bantam and Western Kansas league finish by the second week of July, with the and K-18 leagues finishing by the end of July.  All participants are responsible for providing their own baseball glove and baseball shoes.  Practices are scheduled by field availability at the coach's discretion. 

Fee:     The Coach Pitch bantam boy's league is for boy's ages 7-9 years old and the cost is $15.00. 

The Western Kansas league is for boy's ages 10-12 years old and the cost is $25.00 and $40.00 if a player needs a jersey.

                The K-18 League is for boys ages 13-15 years old and the cost is $60.00.

SOFTBALL: 

These summer programs are for girl's ages 7-17 years old.    All leagues are based on enrollment. The Bantam girls and the Junior Fast pitch leagues are traveling leagues that travel to and host surrounding communities with all practices held in Ellis.  The senior fast pitch leagues plays in Hays with all practices held in Ellis. All leagues begin at the end of May and the coach pitch bantam leagues finish by the second week of July.  The junior and senior fastpitch leagues finish by the end of July.  All participants are responsible for providing their own softball glove and softball shoes. 

Fee:     The Coach Pitch bantam girl's league is for girl's ages 7-9 years old and the cost is $15.00. 

The Junior Fast pitch league is for girl's ages 10-12 years old and the cost is $25.00 and $40.00 if a player needs a jersey.

               The Senior Fast pitch league is for girl's ages 13-17 years old and the cost is $30.00 and $45.00 if a player needs a jersey.

THERE WILL BE A $25.00 LATE FEE ON FORMS THAT ARE TURNED IN AFTER THE DEADLINE.

Players will not be placed on a roster until the late fee is paid.

Bring your completely decorated egg into the Ellis Old High School located at 407 West 11th on Saturday April 3, 2010 between 1:00-1:15PM.  Judging will take place at 1:20 PM.  Please be sure to circle which division and which category you are entering your prized egg into.  There is a limit of one egg per category per individual.  There will be egg entry forms the day of the contest.  Pre-registration is not necessary.

MARCH MADNESS TOURNAMENT CHALLENGE CONTEST | Print |  E-mail

It's simple fill out an NCAA Men's National Tournament Bracket and submit to the ERC Office, 501 W 6th before the deadline. Brackets may be picked up or emailed to you when the brackets are posted by the NCAA. This is a FREE event and there will be prizes for the Top 3 places. Only one entry per person. The deadline is before the first game is played.

Fee: Free

Divisions: Youth or Adult

Registration Deadline: Before the first game is played.

Registration Date:  March 11th, 2010

Camp Date:  Saturday March 20       

Camp Time: 10:00am to 4:00p.m. (Lunch will be served)

                        3p.m. - 4p.m. Scrimmage (if field is not to wet)

Age:  10-14 year olds

Fee: $20.00 per Kid (Includes Camp T-shirts and a chance to work with the EHS baseball players.)

Place: Ellis K-18/Legion Baseball Field (In case of bad weather: will be held at Old High School)

Staffed By: Rick Cunningham, Ellis High School Head Baseball Coach and EHS baseball players.
